Completes Comprehensive Planning Study exhibits and special presentation exhibits using AutoCAD or other company-selected software; procures electronic record documents and converts manually drawn record documents to ensure complete information for the exhibits
Serves as liaison between engineers and CAD Technicians. Mentors all AW CAD Technicians and users. Performs quality control and assurance reviews on in-house design project drawings, and reviews out-sourced design documents for conformance to AW CAD standards. Assists with CAD workload distribution and supervision
Develops complex, 3-dimensional, multi-discipline CAD models, design layouts and details, and Engineering Design drawings using AutoCAD MEP or other company-preferred 3-dimensional design software. Creates 3-D models, plans, sections and details of:
Develops and maintains Standard Construction Details Manuals, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other CAD Standards Manuals.
Assists IT in maintaining AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or other workstations; coordinates with IT Department for AutoCAD software license maintenance and compliance; maintains drawing file directories and archives; maintains electronic drawing database, maintains drawings, microfilm and catalog files, associated indexes and drafting supplies; reviews and files shop drawings; process printing orders.
