Review fabrication drawings and perform construction plan reviews
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team culture
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers throughout all phases of a project
Conduct quality reviews of engineering reports and construction documents
Assist in the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, and project scoping
Provide project coordination support across disciplines and help manage deadlines and deliverables
Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for bridges and other transportation infrastructure projects
Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, estimates, and calculation packages
Support structural inspections, evaluations, and load capacity ratings

Experience in project/task management
B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
Experience with model-based design and tools like:
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
Proficient in at least some structural analysis/design tools such as Mathcad, STAAD Pro, AASHTOWare, LARSA 4D, MDX, SP Column, MerlinDASH, etc.
3–5+ years of experience in structural bridge and/or transportation design
AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Infraworks, or Inventor
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in managing multiple tasks
Solid understanding of bridge design standards and structural engineering principles
