Service Professionals deliver hands‑on customer care by troubleshooting, servicing, inspecting, installing, and repairing industrial doors, loading docks, and dock‑levelers. They complete required paperwork, both paper and digital, and operate a company vehicle to reach multiple job sites each day while maintaining strict safety and OSHA compliance.
Dock & Door Technicians, known internally as Service Professionals, are the front line of Miner’s preventative and emergency response efforts. They travel to diverse sites—from hospitals and schools to aircraft hangars and large warehouses—to diagnose and resolve complex door and dock equipment issues. The role rewards variety, autonomy, and a hands‑on, safety‑focused mindset.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience and can repair a range of industrial facilities. They are eager to learn welding, steel fabrication, and electrical work, with hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge considered a plus. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently on the road are essential, as is a clean driver’s license and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Miner offers competitive compensation, including quarterly bonus incentives, a uniform and boot allowance, and a company‑issued truck that can be taken home. Employees receive a full benefits package from day one—medical, dental, vision, 401(k), generous PTO, and paid holidays—along with ample training and clear pathways for career growth.
