- Conduct field data checks to ensure accurate, complete, and high-quality data collection.
- Coordinate daily flights with other members of the flight crew.
- Operate in remote locations throughout the United States with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot sensor issues in real time and perform preventive maintenance on sensor equipment.
- Under the direction of the Flight Operations Manager, perform aerial data collection using LiDAR equipment, HD video cameras, RGB, NIR, and thermal cameras.

- Demonstrated ability to learn and operate advanced technology; experience with LiDAR or similar equipment is preferred.
- Basic photography knowledge a plus.
- Interest in aviation and becoming a pilot; candidates with existing flight hours or aviation training are strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to unexpected challenges in remote environments.
- A passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.
- Strong computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office, data handling, organization, and file transfer).
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 21 days at a time.
- Good communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- FAA Part 107 license a plus.
- Must be comfortable operating in small fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters for extended periods of time.
- Experience operating sensors or technical equipment in a helicopter or small aircraft (prior flight operations experience preferred).
