Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general public
Provide feedback and performance related discussions to staff
Effectively communicate Company’s beliefs throughout the organization
Effectively communicate and develop positive working relationships with the owner, owner’s representative, and the Company’s site supervision, in order to facilitate the quality objectives
Promote culture of quality workmanship in the field
Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations and drive closure of accompanying action items
Manage equipment matrix by supervisor to ensure accountability for equipment
Develop operational policies and procedures for maximizing safety, performance and profitability
Participate and/or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations
Evaluate, train, mentor and manage all field supervision
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Company’ s Zero Injury principles
Manage budget and coordinate materials to ensure ongoing operations are equipped and staffed
Apply principles of quality, lean kaizen and continuous improvement
Cross-train staff to be able to move between industrial, civil, power, oil and gas, etc.
Complete performance evaluations for direct reports
Develop best practices and standard tools to use to continuously improve operational efficiency
Develop workforce plan with Project Management Team for each project to include the general labor needs, supervisors, site management and equipment necessary for each project, as well as identify key employees and training needs that can be tied to SMART goals
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Work with Project Management Team on salary, allowances, payments, etc.
Develop project matrix with the Project Management Team
Complete Performance Evaluations and process all ESRs, Wage Changes and Manpower requests
Write reports, technical specifications, work instructions, procedures, business correspondence and document quality related issues and activities
Streamline all field office operational, functional and administrative systems and insure they are in compliance with local laws and regulations
Promote and communicate the Company quality policies and procedures
Oversee HR related procedures including recruitment, promotions, transfers, termination and salary negotiations
Ensure timely preparation and submission of required field reporting
Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress towards field goals and benchmarks
Monitor and manage field office expenses with assigned budget
Monitor key metrics and develop operational strategies for profitability
Resolve all issues and concerns relating to field office operations

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore and scheduling softwares
Fire resistant clothing will be required
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, statistics and geometry
Supervisory experience required
Required to have experience in isolations/clearances, LOTO and energizations
This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
Strong electrical experience within EPC or similar construction project environments
Renewables construction project experience preferred (solar, wind, energy storage - BESS)
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in quality, industrial technology, business management, construction, science or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in craft construction positions and within Construction Manager job titles preferred
7-10 years of experience in high voltage and substation construction
