During slower inspection periods, technicians assist with other field inspection and quality‑control tasks to stay productive. Candidates must be flexible, dependable, and motivated to learn in a traveling construction environment.
Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, self‑motivated individuals who enjoy travel, outdoor work, and changing priorities. The position is entry‑level and welcomes applicants with 0–5 years of construction or related experience, including coursework, and no prior inspection experience is required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Key requirements include a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, the ability to lift up to 30 lb, and the capacity to stand or walk for extended periods. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and be willing to travel extensively across Louisiana and Mississippi.
Compensation ranges from $19 to $24 per hour, based on experience.
