Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding commercial matters. Build and maintain strong relationships, understand client needs, and ensure timely resolution of issues to enhance client satisfaction.
Identify and assess project risks related to commercial aspects, including contractual obligations, payment terms, and insurance requirements. Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor implementation.
Establish, deploy, and oversee Change Management and Claims administration.
Evaluate and select subcontractors and vendors based on performance, capability, and cost competitiveness. Manage subcontractor/subconsultant relationships and monitor their adherence to contractual obligations.
Lead the negotiation, drafting, and administration of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure contract terms are compliant with flow down requirements from the prime contract.
Coordinate with technical teams to prepare competitive bids and proposals for Design-Build transportation projects. Oversee and coordinate project control activities, including the development and analysis of cost estimates, forecasts, schedules, monthly reporting requirements, and cash flow.
Prepare regular reports on project financial performance, including budget vs. actuals, profitability analysis, and cash flow projections. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and analysis.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial activities, contracts, and procurement. Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to resolve disputes and mitigate legal risks.

Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
MBA or relevant advanced degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
Hands on Primavera P6 preferred experience.
15+ years of experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and financial oversight within the construction or engineering industry, ideally with exposure to design-build projects.
Strong understanding of practical applications to project control and risk management in the context of large fixed-price capital projects.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiar and experienced on US P3 project agreement requirements for design related services.
