As the central purchasing contact for RG&E, the director coordinates business needs with purchasing activities, supports project execution, resolves complex challenges, and identifies solutions for unique requirements. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the energy industry, advanced certifications such as CMP or C.P.S.M., and a Master’s degree with at least eight years of relevant experience. The role may involve travel to business meetings and supplier visits, and the successful candidate will maintain close relationships with key stakeholders while supporting compliance and emergency response responsibilities across Avangrid’s network and corporate functions.
