The company is hiring a Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of materials and equipment essential to its electrical projects. This role is critical for maintaining cost‑effective, efficient supply chains, ensuring quality standards, and supporting project teams with timely and accurate purchasing activities.

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and build vendor relationships.
• Place timely orders for electrical materials, equipment, and supplies while optimizing cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track usage, and replenish stock to avoid shortages.
• Monitor pricing trends, negotiate favorable terms, and implement cost‑saving strategies.
• Ensure purchased items meet quality standards in collaboration with the quality control team.
• Keep detailed procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and team members to align procurement with project needs.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or extensive purchasing experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with procurement tools. • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply‑chain management preferred, or 10 years purchasing experience in electrical/construction.
