The Leasing Assistant supports the property‑management team in meeting occupancy and retention targets by handling administrative, leasing, marketing, and customer‑service tasks at the community. This role involves processing paperwork, interacting with prospects, and assisting residents throughout move‑in and move‑out processes.
Incumbents must be able to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, and carrying objects up to 25 lb independently or 50 lb with assistance. The job requires work in all weather conditions and occasional travel to other properties or training events, as well as a flexible schedule.
Pay is determined by business needs, experience, skills, and location, and may include quarterly or annual bonus programs for corporate roles or weekly, monthly, and quarterly bonuses for onsite positions. Part‑time team members can receive a 401(k) with company match, employee assistance program, and paid sick time, subject to eligibility. Union and prevailing‑wage positions may have different compensation and benefits per collective bargaining agreements.
