  • Supervise major overhaul or installation of environmental control systems to assure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications
  • Perform Heat load calculation for Air Conditioning system.
  • Pipe design and pipe sizing, static pressure calculations & selection of grilles & diffusers.
  • Maintain budget, records and files, and prepares reports
  • Oversee repair and replacement of faulty equipment, wiring and controls, and other components related to the HVAC systems
  • Coordinate skills to schedule work so facility is not interrupted; maintain records of time and materials used on all jobs.
  • Review MEP drawings & identify HAVC equipment, customer specific requirements and customization opportunities.
  • Design of Air-conditioning DX system and chilled water system.
  • Estimate and orders needed equipment and supplies.
  • Design modifications to existing systems to achieve efficient operation Remove and replace damage motor
  • Involves selection of equipment (Split AC, Package A/C, Chiller, AHU, FCU, Ventilation fan, Pumps, etc.), design of ducting, design of chilled water piping, selection of pumps, valves, etc.
  • Review and critique plans and specifications for HVAC and environmental control systems
  • Recommend people to be hired, disciplined, discharged, or promoted.
  • Abide by the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, (HSEQ) policy, procedures necessary for the good conduct and safety of the workplace. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable to the compliance of Enova’s HSEQ policy, operating procedures, as well as being compliant to local legislation. The Employee shall seek clarification and guidance in specific cases or whenever one feels necessary.
  • Design smaller air-conditioning systems, modifications to existing systems, review plans and specifications for contracted work.
  • Independent handling of HVAC system from concept to commissioning.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews.
  • Train staff in the proper use of tools, and proper work procedure.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and prescribe repair procedures
  • Carry out design in-consideration with various heat generating / transmitting / equipment /material with the aid of cooling Load Estimation.
  • Read and interpret BOQ and specifications.
  • Recommend special work schedules, overtime or extension of unit downtime to meet unusual or emergency situations
  • Maintain a professional rapport with engineers, HVAC consultants, contractors and end clients.
  • Reviewing vendor data sheets for approval/comments prior submitting to the client.
  • Review the work of contractors for adherence to plans and specifications and for quality assurance
  • Provide technical assistance to technicians when requested.
  • Develop a pro-active working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement.
  • Complete job execution at site with the support of site supervisors and technician to ensure the equipment installation as per approved drawings as part of Mechanical completion.
  • Conduct a quality check of work in progress or upon completion to assure acceptability

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with client representatives (being multi-lingual will be an advantage)
  • Diagnose HVAC problems; and to understand and work from blueprints, schematics and other construction drawings
  • Bachelors of Engineering.
  • Duct design & duct sizing in accordance with ISO standards, EU regulations, SMACNA guide and DW144 for ductwork specification & fabrication procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of the design and operation of large HVAC equipment (Cooling Plants, Heat Exchangers, ETS, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, CWPs etc.)
  • Knowledge of materials used in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair work
  • Knowledge of international & local industry specific codes
  • 05+ years’ experience in technical maintenance with exposure to Facilities Management especially in the areas of Mechanical Engineering and maintenance of Airports, Retail, & industrials sections
  • Knowledge of safe work methods and practices
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair work
  • Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established. Thorough knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning systems
