The role of Project Delivery Engineer in the Platform Lifts and Microlifts division covers North London, the M25 corridor and surrounding areas. The engineer will manage site progress, coordinate with site and operations teams, and provide on‑site advice to ensure smooth lift installations. The position includes a company vehicle and requires a DBS check; working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00‑16:45.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, offering expert advice, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, execution, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.
- Champion health and safety across all project activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards, and liaise with the H&S Manager to address customer queries.
- Conduct site visits and audits to confirm readiness, monitor subcontractor performance, check installation quality, and provide technical guidance on fixing points, pump locations, and builders’ work.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and site reports, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance project delivery.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer familiar with construction sites, building processes and technical drawings, who is organised, customer‑focused, problem‑solving and flexible. As the first point of contact for customers on site, the engineer must represent the company professionally and communicate clearly.
The role requires at least an NVQ Level 2 construction or lift qualification, strong understanding of construction and technical drawings, and proven project‑management experience in construction or lift installation.
