• Impact residents’ lives and build lasting relationships
• Execute signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
• Take written food orders and serve meals promptly and courteously
• Assist residents with menu selections and dietary needs
• Track resident meal attendance and report accurately
• Greet, seat, and integrate new residents to ensure comfort
• Maintain sanitary dining areas and follow food‑handling policies
• Uphold grooming and dress standards to support community marketing
• Clean, reset tables, and return dishes to the kitchen efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure positive dining experiences
• Report safety or equipment issues immediately
• Perform non‑essential tasks such as breaking down deliveries, washing dishes, and delivering meals to rooms
• Minimize waste and use resources responsibly

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 or older, have a background clearance, pass a health screening, and possess basic restaurant experience or the ability to learn. Strong English communication, basic math for tracking meals, and the ability to operate serving equipment are required, along with the physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 40 lb, and perform repetitive motions.

• Practice proper table etiquette and serve from the left
• Display tact and friendliness with residents, team members, and guests
• Meet age, work‑permit, background, health‑screening, and state regulatory requirements
• Possess basic counting skills and ability to operate serving equipment
• Complete required dining‑room training and maintain certification
• Physically capable of standing long periods, bending, kneeling, lifting 40+ lb, and pushing/pulling carts
