Engineering Technician

Overview

Maintain & improve plant equipment, perform PPM, troubleshoot, support manufacturing.

Tasks

-Assisting other site maintenance teams during peak periods or changing workloads -Recording and analysing data using the engineering computerised system -Supervising external contractors and supporting process operators -Implementing and improving planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes -Performing statutory inspections and pressure system checks -Leading minor development projects and plant modifications -Diagnosing faults, problem-solving, and executing safe repairs to minimise downtime

What You Bring

-Strong standards orientation and forward planning skills -Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical systems -Awareness of business goals and production processes -+ 6 lieu days to be taken throughout the year -Fault diagnosis and condition monitoring expertise -Strong numerical, mechanical aptitude and literacy -A recognised engineering apprenticeship and minimum 2 years of relevant experience -Confidence in independent decision-making and knowing personal limits -Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs -Capability to train others and contribute to team development -Ability to interpret data to support resin manufacture and troubleshoot issues
