What you’ll do: The Quality Engineer is responsible for Transition Quality, coordinating with the Sending Site Quality team and deploying work instructions and procedures and associated process controls. The engineer will analyze, implement, and coordinate scrap reduction and quality improvement projects, and will be responsible for FAI/PPAP.
- Implement new Quality System that meets internal, customer, and industry requirements.
- Apply quality engineering toolset to ensure manufacturing process capability, including use of FMEA, control plan, MSA, and process validation techniques.
- Identify organizational training needs and execute training on subjects relating to customer requirements.
- Facilitate dialogue with customers and internal Eaton team to understand and resolve potential product quality issues through Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Handle calibration and coordinate use of CMM.
- Implement measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency, and morale.
- Utilize GD&T, gauging, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, RCCA, and inspection techniques.
- Apply ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP quality assurance systems.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering is required, along with five or more years of experience in a quality function within the aerospace industry.
Skills: The candidate should demonstrate command of machining, assembly, and testing operations, be familiar with ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP quality assurance systems, and proficient in GD&T, gauging, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, RCCA, inspection techniques, FMEA, control plans, and process validation. Proficiency with MS Office and MINITAB is also required. The applicant must be an Indian national.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, project management, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Certified Internal Quality Auditor (AS9100) preferred.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to leadership.
- Provide demonstrated leadership skills.
