What you would be doing

- Replace defective sections of hoses.
- Maintain company vehicles and appropriate inventory levels for jobs.
- Evaluate customer's site for additional equipment and services that customers may require.
- Inspect, repair, and replace fire extinguishers and emergency lights.
- Work in compliance with the Company's safety program.
- Perform functional and operational tests on equipment.
- Document deficiencies at the customer level and notify appropriate persons responsible for non-conformance issues.
- Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
- Complete and accurately record required information onto system inspection and field reports.
- Provide preventive maintenance inspections and servicing using hand tools and testing equipment.
- Participation in Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual company training and events

- NAFED certification a plus
- Ability to work in a wide variety of conditions, including heights up to 30 feet or more and also be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Thorough knowledge of fire suppression systems and the necessary tools
- Capability to identify or willingness to learn and understand fire (NFPA) Codes.
- Understanding of complex blueprints and solid written and verbal skills
- High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with the national fire codes
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience in lift operations and OSHA guidelines
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within the state of Maryland
- Regular performance reviews in the way of real-time coaching from your licensed mentor and in-office reviews with your PM and/or divisional VP
