Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas
Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor
Accurately measure components and products utilizing tape measures & calipers
Perform simple repetitive tasks and assembly of parts and components
Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or engineering drawings
Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices
Identify different gauges and types of raw material
Remove excess weld, slag, spatter, and rough spots from workpieces using grinders, brushes, chisels, or scrapers
Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility
Accurately read, interpret, & produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
Operate welding unit, perform minor adjustments, and weld both aluminum and steel
Operate welding units and make necessary adjustments
Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:

Experience adjusting and troubleshooting welding equipment
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
Experience identifying defects and measuring workpiece to ensure conformance
Accurately read tape measure, scales, & calipers
Experience with high volume, fast paced welding
Previous experience with manufacturing fabrication
