- Conduct clinical laboratory testing, including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases, as well as assay/instrument calibration, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
- Maintain general laboratory equipment.
- Participate in test validation work for two tests in development: cell isolation for a cell viability assay and assay/instrument calibration, quality control, instrument maintenance, and running validation samples for a more advanced test.
- Perform analytical validation work in accordance with client protocols.
- Engage in other duties such as making quality control pools, performing quality activities as per procedures, and managing inventory.

- Bachelor's degree in a human biological science such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Neuroscience.
- Strong background in Chemistry and Biology.
- Healthcare background is advantageous.
- Proficiency in laboratory and medical laboratory testing.
- Master's degree is acceptable, but not PhD or engineering degrees.
- Ability to process specimens efficiently.
- Experience in instrumentation and troubleshooting.
- Candidates must not have been out of lab work for more than one year.
