  • Navigate between office building floors, and on occasion, attend off-site meetings
  • Assists clients in early project development.(facilitating in-house and external resources as required)
  • Attends trade shows and educates government agencies on construction delivery models
  • Promotes and supports seller doer culture among Project Managers
  • Leads and promotes community involvement activities
  • Assists in developing opportunity and key account strategic and tactical plans
  • Develops annual marketing and business development plans
  • Leads office business development meetings and manage/track all business development activities and reporting
  • Works in direct collaboration with the Director of Operations (DOO) and/or Construction Executive (CE), as applicable, to align with KA’s growth strategy
  • Works with CE and DOO in tracking and booking sales during the course of the year
  • Prepares annual marketing budget
  • Collaborate with KA teams to identify business partners and nurture and develop relationships
  • Collaborates with appropriate stake holders in developing annual sales goals
  • Assists Construction Executive (CE) and Director of Operations (DOO) in development of business unit’s strategic planning efforts
  • Identifies potential customers, business partners and, develops strategic relationships
  • Develops new market initiatives, assesses new markets and analyzes business opportunities
  • Assists in proposal and interview process and strategy
  • Identify alternative funding sources and entitlements

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Clearly communicate information (both written and verbal) to colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Stand and/or sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time; 50%+
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture and/or Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations or related coursework
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
  • Active in related trade associations
  • Travel 10-25%
  • Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
  • K-12 market sector construction experience
  • Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy.
  • Minimum ten years related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel as needed to serve market sector interests, including School Board meetings.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Use a computer/laptop/iPad in open office environment with natural and/or florescent lighting
