Creates and innovates with a strong conceptual design ability. Integrates interdisciplinary criteria to effectively move forward the design of distinct portions of large projects or entire projects of a small scale.
Specific knowledge of major terminal systems and their functionality including integration with unique airport systems such as baggage handling systems, automated people movers, aircraft boarding bridge, etc.
Proficiency with basic desktop methods for calculating terminal processors from Peak /Design Hour quantities, Design Day Flight Schedules and similar general forecast demands is a plus, though not a requirement.
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Aviation.
Demonstrates an advanced understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques. Is able to enrich design concepts through technical strategies. Identifies and effectively uses appropriate tools to design and document at all project phases.
Extensive airport planning experience.
