Prior to the execution stage, this Owner‑team role supports negotiation and administration of development work such as LNG FEED agreements and studies, as well as the negotiation and execution of the EPC Agreement that will govern the later phase. During the execution stage, it manages a >$5 billion EPC agreement for a large‑scale capital project, overseeing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure contractual alignment and commercial integrity.
Reporting to the Owner LNG Contract Manager as a deputy, the role leads a functional team in task allocation, mentorship, and deliverable quality while fostering a collaborative environment. Success requires influencing complex, cross‑functional teams, deep contract‑administration expertise, proactive risk identification and mitigation, adherence to standardized procedures, and continuous improvement of EPC contract administration frameworks.
- Provide ad‑hoc expert guidance on EPC terms, escalations, and liaise with legal, tax, and insurance experts.
- Ensure implementation of contract administration plans, maintain accurate EPC obligations, logs, and reporting.
- Design and deliver EPC agreement training for the Owner project team.
- Investigate complex EPC issues, draft and coordinate contractor correspondence with legal review.
- Lead evaluation, negotiation, and management of change orders, validating price and schedule impacts and obtaining approvals.
- Oversee EPC claims management, coordinate claim action teams, and pursue proactive settlements.
- Support administration of BAR insurance requirements.
- Research regional/global policy, safety, weather, and tariff risks and draft mitigation memos.

- Hold a four‑year degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess roughly ten years of related professional experience.
- Demonstrated construction management expertise across the project lifecycle.
