The Assembler I position at the Wheeling, WV plant supports production by preparing components and assembling finished products according to detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams. The role includes tasks such as painting, finishing, and insulating products while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Perform limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Successful candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic knowledge of hand and power tools. This is an hourly non-exempt position with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and overtime eligibility.
