Maintenance Worker- Saguaro

Description

The Maintenance Worker installs, maintains and repairs the facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles and grounds.

• Install, maintain, and repair building structures, plumbing, electrical systems, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles, and grounds.
• Maintain and repair the facility’s physical structure to ensure safe and secure operations.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machines and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical wiring and electronic components of machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to the established plan.
• Supervise and track inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.

Requirements

• Require a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Require at least two years of general maintenance or construction experience.
• Technical or trade school courses may substitute for experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
