Oversee the development of a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans specific to the solutions.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and own the solution design. Keep all technical SMEs apprised of solution changes affecting their technical area
Assess responses from technical and functional owners against industry best practice functionality for an ADMS environment to capture all requirements and develop the overall solution. Work with system vendors to understand their solution and incorporate it into the overall solution design.
Support Organizational Change Management staff in their preparation and delivery of training and business communications.
Collaborate with Solution Leads on other projects in the program to identify and align dependencies.
Collaborate with IT Support to define ongoing support requirements and a support transition plan for the solutions.
Ensure all IT Support documentation is updated to reflect changes introduced by the solution, including specification of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to be used to measure and monitor solution health and efficiency
Collaborate with IT Security to ensure security requirements for the solution are followed. Includes Impact Analysis Assessments and adhering to IT General Controls.
Validate Architecture requirements and diagrams with vendors and business stakeholders to elicit, detail, and prioritize customer requirements.
Report progress to Program Management and collaborate with Project Manager to identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues.
Oversee design, build, and test activities by integration vendors to link third party applications
Provide a comprehensive approach to IT technology solutions, which includes the consideration of the application, infrastructure, database, security, and networking working together seamlessly

Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and documenting complex IT solution designs
Demonstrated experience with system security in a Utility environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability in and deep understanding of complex network architectures and IT system design associated with an ADMS system
Prior experience enabling a top-tier Electric Utility ADMS
Demonstrated experience in vendor management to optimize the vendor’s portion of the solution
Experience with other utility standards such as CIM 61968 / 61970, OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5, SEP2.0 (nice-to-have)
Demonstrated experience eliciting and managing systems and business requirements
Experience with servers, storage, and network infrastructure, as well as physical, cloud based, and hybrid environments
Prior experience with solution implementations in a multi-vendor environment
Experience with utility SCADA standards such DNP3, ICCP, and Modbus
Prior experience with SAP EAM or CIS, GIS systems, OMS systems, EMS systems
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Technology Management or equivalent experience
Understand and influence vendor solution design, artifacts, and deliverables.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team of project technical resources from design to delivery
Experience with Webservices, XML, SOAP, RESTful. Etc.
Experience working with real-time systems and data connectivity
