- Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and process evaluations to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate document control, versioning, and engineering data management for all design packages and related documentation.
- Support senior engineers in mentoring technicians and implementing best practices in CAD and tooling design.
- Assist in downstream activities such as quality inspection tooling, tool validation, and production buy-off.
- Create and develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and tooling components in SOLIDWORKS, including jigs, fixtures, inspection tooling, forming molds, and related designs.
- Support multiple design projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and variable workflow requirements.
- Apply design principles to optimize tooling for ergonomics, efficiency, and process measurement capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a technical resource for upstream process review, defining tooling requirements and ensuring manufacturability.

- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD software, including assemblies and 3D CAD modeling required.
- Bachlors degree or greater in Mechanical Engineering.
- Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply
- 2 or more years of experience in tooling, manufacturing engineering, or related technical/design roles required.
- Experience designing fixtures, molds, jigs, and tooling components, preferably in hard tooling (CNC, machining, welding) and soft tooling (fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin, 3D printing).
