Overview
Lead land surveying, mapping, and city/county surveyor duties in Northern CA.

Tasks
-Coordinate subconsultant field and office survey work. -Providing technical guidance and support to surveying staff. -Work with various divisions (engineers and architects) within Willdan to provide necessary services, such as boundary and topographic surveys, aerial photogrammetry, airborne lidar, terrestrial scanning, preparation of legal descriptions and plat maps, coordination of appraisal and acquisition services. -Lot Line Adjustment & Lot Merger document checking. -Act as City/County Surveyor for cities and counties throughout California. -Oversees office survey staff. Monitors employee development. -Monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency and profitability. -Ensuring the quality and accuracy of survey data and deliverables. -Legal work - Provide law firms, title companies, and cities technical expertise in the review of defective title, reformation of deeds, expert witness. -Subdivision and Parcel Map Checking. -Preparation of easement and right-of-way legal descriptions and plats.

What You Bring
-Background in subdivision mapping (major and minor) and subdivision processes, including demonstrated experience with preparation and review of subdivision maps, parcel maps, legal descriptions, lot line adjustments and lot mergers, right-of-way engineering, easements, records of survey, corner records, ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, and design surveys. -Active California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. -At least 10 years of progressive professional land surveying experience. -Prior experience serving as a City or County Surveyor is strongly preferred. -Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience. -Ability to respond to questions and recommend appropriate administration of the Subdivision Map Act and Professional Land Surveyor’s Act.
