Management of a team of electrical engineers on allocated projects
Ensuring the training and development needs of the electrical team are met to serve the clients’/projects requirements.
Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed project programme.
Plan the project works and provide forward view resource forecasting to enable the team leader to allocate suitable resource to the projects.
Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed budget.
Maintaining good relationships with all external parties to enhance the reputation of the company.
Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the SYSTRA Project Management Team.
Ensuring projects are completed to meet all client’s requirements and applicable standards.
Provide monthly cost to complete forecasts to the SYSTRA Project Management Team.
Maintaining good relationships with engineers from other internal discipline teams to promote good inter-discipline working relationships and a “One Team” ethos.

Ability to travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices will be required
Have a good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements.
Detailed knowledge of construction principles and standards
Able to undertake overseas assignments where required
Qualified to HNC or equivalent
Ideally a Chartered Engineer
Detailed knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure including railway lineside systems (points heating, signalling power, level crossings, LV distribution) and/or lighting, small power, containment, earthing or fire alarms
This role requires considerable professional experience and expertise in order to manage complex or non-standard design solutions.
Significant engineering design and site experience in a similar consultancy or contractor organisation
Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and/or building services
Experience in working with offshore Production Centres
Good communication and presentation skills for external presentations to clients.
