• Develop competitive fee structures aligned with project scope.
• Establish and manage project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Anticipate and manage client expectations.
• Lead staff by defining roles, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship.
• Facilitate open design dialogue and deliver technical solutions.
• Motivate the team to meet goals and adjust course as needed.
• Oversee construction phase documentation (shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, addenda).
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal staff, external consultants, and stakeholders for collaboration.
• Conduct project presentations.
• Identify new business opportunities through professional networks.
• Drive design innovation and continuous improvement.
• Create project directives, outlines, schedules, and strategies.
• Develop and communicate project phasing plans.
• Manage all facets of project production to deliver complete documentation.
• Resolve technical challenges with effective solutions.
• Apply industry standards and construction practices.
• Identify, document, and resolve regulatory and code requirements.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control of project documents.
• Share and apply new methodologies, codes, and products.
• Manage client relationships and provide leadership to staff.
• Efficient coordination of deliverables and client expectations.

Requirements

We are actively recruiting a dynamic Architectural Project Manager for our Education team, focusing on Higher Education. You will work alongside creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate for outstanding results. Our ideal team member is eager to take on increasing responsibilities and expand their expertise.

This position is based in our downtown Dallas office and requires on‑site work Monday through Friday. It is a fully in‑office role—not hybrid or remote.

• In‑office position based in downtown Dallas, Mon‑Fri.
• Bachelor’s degree from NAAB‑accredited program or equivalent.
• 8+ years of architectural experience, including higher‑education projects.
• Professional registration (architect licensure).
• Strong commitment to QA/QC.
• Ability to produce hands‑on work when needed.
• Proficient in code research and documentation.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors.
• Skilled in managing project fees and schedules.
• Confident presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
