Supervise day-to-day construction, repair, and maintenance of highway projects.

Tasks
-Lead and supervise field staff, including workers, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient project workflow. -Review and interpret bridge design plans and blueprints, ensuring adherence to project specifications. -Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds required standards. -Maintain detailed project records, including daily reports, timecards, and progress updates. -Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs -Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures -Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably -Work with local authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and other legal requirements. -Coordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project managers to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion. -Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and machinery used on site. -Supervise and manage all aspects of construction, repair, and maintenance projects from start to finish -Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel -Monitor progress against schedules and budgets, proactively addressing potential issues and delays. -Manage and order materials, supplies, and equipment, coordinating timely deliveries to meet project needs. -Resolve any on-site conflicts, obstacles, or issues that arise in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. -Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring the proper deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials. -Recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and mentoring employees and contractors -Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors -Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. -Regularly report project status to site engineers and other officials. -Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all projects.

What You Bring
-Five years of experience in the Heavy Highway Construction Industry -Additional Certifications like Rigging, Fall Protection, OSHA 30, MOT, Paving level 1 or 2, and AC . (Preferred) -Survey Knowledge -High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
