Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent discipline;
Proven ability to support multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and maintain compliance standards;
Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously across multiple sites;
Current Construction White Card;
Sound knowledge of environmental management systems and auditing processes (ISO 14001);
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental data management systems;
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and data analysis;
Ability to identify practical environmental solutions and influence positive behaviours;
Strong understanding of QLD and NSW environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, and approval processes;
ICAM (Basic) or equivalent incident-investigation or root cause analysis training (desirable);
Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations in Queensland and New South Wales including TMR and TfNSW;
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an on-site environmental advisory or coordination role within civil construction, infrastructure, heavy industry or mining;
Certified Practicing Erosion and Sediment Control certification (highly regarded) or associated training modules (desirable).
Demonstrated experience preparing and implementing EMPs, risk registers, and environmental procedures;
Capability to adapt to and introduce new technologies and methodologies in environmental management.
Experience liaising with regulatory bodies and clients on environmental issues and performance reporting.
