Production Associate

Description

The Production Associate role supports Metalworks' production operations and is slated to begin in late October. Responsibilities align with the UA Local 411 Metal Trades agreement and involve assisting across various areas of the plant.

The position supports daily production activities, helping maintain a smooth workflow and high product quality throughout the facility.

• Handle, assemble, and package manufactured products.
• Operate rigging, hoisting, and material‑moving equipment.
• Perform facility cleaning, grounds upkeep, and occasional office administrative support.
• Distribute tools and supplies and manage inbound and outbound material flow.
• Conduct quality control and assurance inspections of products.
• Maintain plant facilities, equipment, and tools as Head Maintenance Man.
• Operate cutting, beveling, grooving, and threading tools for piping fabrication.
• Meet physical demands such as walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent; forklift or overhead hoist experience is a plus. Candidates should have basic manufacturing knowledge, fundamental math skills, strong time‑management and communication abilities, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $22.62 to $27.54 and compensation will reflect experience, education, and training. Applications are accepted continuously via the company website.
