The minimum qualifications include a BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field with eight years of relevant experience, or an AA/AS with ten years, or a HS/GED with twelve years, or an equivalent combination. A valid driver’s license is required. Physical demands involve climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in varied terrain and active construction zones; the work environment includes exposure to heavy machinery, elevated areas, airborne particles and varying weather conditions.
Preferred qualifications comprise a bachelor’s degree, proven experience managing large‑scale projects in Chicago, strong leadership and team‑management skills, and experience on mega‑construction or aviation projects exceeding $100 million. Candidates should possess deep knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, MEP/FP systems, and be proficient with project‑management software, problem‑solving, communication and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
