As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our construction projects by managing and maintaining all project-related documentation. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is distributed across teams, with a strong emphasis on utilising Fieldview to support our digital field management processes.

  • Support project teams with document version control, drawing registers, and audit compliance
  • Liaise with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and head office to ensure consistent document flow
  • Track document approvals and ensure timely distribution of information
  • Act as a point of contact for Fieldview support and training within the Oxford division
  • Maintain and update Fieldview to ensure real-time tracking of quality, safety, and progress on-site
  • Manage the control of all project documentation, drawings, and records in accordance with company and project procedures
  • Implement document control procedures and improve digital workflows where possible

  • Familiarity with other document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Asite, 4Projects) is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Fieldview (Viewpoint) is essential
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across live projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven experience in a Document Controller role within the construction industry
