What you would be doing

  • Perform component-level PCB soldering and desoldering.
  • Participate in 5S activities and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Complete visual quality inspections of labels and hardware checks.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies to meet defined engineering specifications.
  • Utilize test equipment, including but not limited to multimeters, function generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, wave analyzers, and Bench Test Equipment (BTE).
  • Provide assistance to the Team Lead and other Repairs Technicians with necessary or applicable assignments in the testing process.
  • Perform point-to-point continuity checks on products prior to electrical testing.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and utilize all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Proficient math skills.
  • IPC-A610, IPC JSTD-001, & IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification(s) & experience
  • Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Have a working knowledge of common hand and power tools and test equipment.
  • Experience with PCB component-level soldering and desoldering.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • 2-5 years of previous experience in an electronic repairs department.
  • Solid knowledge of electronic components.
  • Read and understand all related drawings, including but not limited to assembly drawings, schematics, bills of material (BOM), and test procedures.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting to the component level and strong problem-solving skills.
