The Apprentice, Civil supports daily general civil construction activities to enable rapid commercial deployment of services under the direction of a Construction Supervisor or Foreman.
Daily work includes installing grounding systems, executing concrete tasks, applying carpentry and landscaping techniques, evaluating job requirements with supervisors, completing assignments promptly, maintaining site safety, and assisting teammates, with occasional overtime.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with under a year of construction or telecom experience. The role requires extensive domestic travel, a valid driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement, and the ability to meet demanding physical standards such as long periods of standing, lifting heavy loads, and working in remote sites.
The work environment involves outdoor weather, exposure to electrical hazards, loud equipment noise, and occasional work at heights; all safety‑sensitive hires must pass a drug test.
