  • Perform code reviews to ensure fit to requirements, optimal execution patterns and adherence to established standards;
  • Design and implement Azure Data Factory Pipelines to support centralization of analytics data sources;
  • Help promote and educate on the use of data and analytics tools including PowerBI, ADF and Fabric;
  • Engage directly with clients to lead the implementation of analytics solutions, ensuring a successful user experience;
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using a medallion architecture for efficient storage and retrieval;
  • Assist in establishing and documenting best practices related to data movement, transformation, storage and analytics;
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports;
  • Manage O365 technologies (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform and SharePoint).
  • Manage structured, semi structured and unstructured data sources across the organization’s storage layers including Sharepoint, OneDrive, and ADLSG2;

  • A degree in computer science or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering and/or Data Science.
  • In depth knowledge of techniques and experience using scalable tools to implement data lakes and marts to support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to attain or currently hold a Canadian Federal Government reliability status clearance.
  • Cloud certification(s).
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing Data Governance best practices, including developing and enforcing data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security, while promoting compliant data usage and management.
  • Understanding of AZURE DEVOPS, version control and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • A solid understanding of Data Architecture best practices, including data modeling techniques, design principles for data warehousing and lakes, and strategies for data integration and lifecycle management to build robust and scalable data ecosystems.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing with Azure, Synapse, Fabric.
  • Proficient writing SQL queries and programming including stored procedures and reverse engineering existing process.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Power BI.
  • Minimum 5 years of SQL Server based development of large datasets.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerBI, Fabric, ADF, API, ADLS, Azure SQL database.
