Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.
Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc.
Coordination of subcontractor and supplier involvement.
Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.
Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.

Experience in commercial construction estimating.

Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
Ability to analyze blueprints, specs, and site info to calculate project costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors) for bids, creating detailed budgets, proposals, and quantity takeoffs.
BA/BS Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 2 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.
