The successful candidate will lead a Land Development team, build and manage key client relationships, and have significant autonomy to direct and grow the business. They will be responsible for operating with integrity, providing vision and strategic planning, establishing goals, and maintaining open communication with partners and staff. Strong leadership will be demonstrated through mentoring staff, transitioning work to qualified personnel, and managing projects profitably.
Required qualifications include more than 15 years of experience managing land development projects and a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. Candidates must possess extensive client contacts with local architects, developers, land‑use attorneys, planners, and land owners, as well as strong technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil3D. Business development skills such as writing proposals, scopes, and budgets, coupled with the ability to communicate positively at all organizational levels and mentor staff, are essential.
The position offers a salary range of $130,000 – $180,000, eligibility for performance‑based bonus compensation, and the potential to advance to ownership based on success.
