Description

• Monitor and enforce site safety procedures as per statutory regulations and company policies.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and prepare root cause analysis reports with corrective action plans.
• Maintain records for safety checklists, incident reports, accident registers, and training registers.
• Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers, supervisors & contractors.
• Conduct mock drills for fire safety and emergency preparedness regularly.
• Ensure statutory compliance as per Factory Act, BOCW Act, and relevant safety norms.
• Display safety signage and ensure site housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and management to resolve safety concerns.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and ensure immediate corrective action.
• Develop, implement and maintain safety plans, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Ensure proper PPE usage, scaffolding safety, lifting equipment safety, and material handling safety at site.
