

Custom engineering firm designing and fabricating material‑handling, automation, racks, carts, lifting devices
Plymouth Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabrication & Repair Technician to join its growing manufacturing team. The role focuses on inspecting, repairing, refurbishing, reinforcing, and modifying steel racks, carts, and other material handling equipment used in demanding industrial environments. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in welding and steel fabrication, capable of evaluating equipment, interpreting drawings, and restoring or modifying products to meet customer specifications and safety standards.
Applicants must hold MIG welding and forklift certifications, be able to meet production goals, understand fabrication safety practices, and work independently or within a team. Physical demands include standing or walking for 8‑10 hours daily, lifting up to 40 lb, and performing bends, twists, and reaches as needed. Preferred experience includes 2‑5 years of hands‑on fabrication, welding, or industrial repair, especially with steel racks and carts, while a welding or fabrication certification from a technical school is a plus.
The position offers an hourly wage of $24‑$27 based on experience and includes health, dental, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, as well as paid vacation and holidays.
