Lodge Event Server

Description

The Event Server role is dedicated to delivering a world-class guest experience at each function, supporting both meal service and coffee-window operations while upholding high standards of food safety and hospitality.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, the server ensures seamless service flow, timely coordination, and personalized attention that exceeds guest expectations and creates memorable events.

• Set up and break down food service stations for buffets, plated meals, outdoor cookouts, and family-style events.
• Distribute passed appetizers and manage appetizer stations during functions.
• Memorize and communicate guests’ dietary restrictions and allergen information.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions and answer guest inquiries confidently.
• Coordinate meal service start times and monitor guest counts for accuracy.
• Restock beverage and snack stations, and perform meeting-room refreshes throughout events.
• Buss tables, attend to guest requests promptly, and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.
• Follow safe food-handling practices, proper product rotation, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in continuous food and coffee training, including product knowledge and preparation techniques.
• Polish glassware, roll silverware, and assist with ware-washing duties.
• Prepare and serve coffee-based beverages according to standard recipes, maintaining the coffee window area.
• Inspect coffee equipment, report issues, and suggest drink recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Attend daily shift meetings, contribute to inventory management, and track beverage consumption.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and record inventory of beverages, snacks, and coffee supplies.

Requirements

Candidates must bring at least two years of food-and-beverage experience, strong communication skills, extensive knowledge of menu items and allergens, and the physical stamina required for long periods of standing and walking.
