Ensure that interface characteristics between components are established and agreed upon by owners of mating parts/systems.
Utilize applicable tools and standard work processes for checking and productivity. Provide feedback for improvements.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve current business products and processes. Communicate & Document the success of Lean or Six Sigma projects.
Ensure design integrity and no high-risk escaping defects and drive improvements in First Pass Yield (error reduction).
Assure that proper documentation of technical data, generated to substantiate the assigned components, assembly processes, and/or systems is consistent with design policies and procedures.
Define geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) required for proper clearances and fits while maximizing manufacturing capabilities.
Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
Effectively communicate progress, status, risk, needed inputs and target release dates to stakeholders through daily management routines.
Manage concurrent Engineering processes, understand input from the different engineering disciplines, monitor progress and quality, and ensure schedule requirements are met.
Continually learn and apply the latest techniques relative to CAD software, Data Management Systems (DMS) and MBE (Model Based Enterprise).
Check, validate, and issue models and drawings.
Utilize applicable PLM system (Enovia / Teamcenter) to manage and issue product definition data.
Work closely with our experienced team in model-based product definition process changes and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Provide design support to cross-functional teams to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, supplier, or field issues.
Effectively communicate and provide recommendations to internal and external GE Vernova customers through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical PDE data.
Create 3D CAD models and drawings using company sponsored CAD systems (NX).
Drive improvements and approvals for standard CAD models, drawings, with GD&T and manufacturing best practices.

Demonstrated ability in managing several projects across functions (New Product Introduction, New Units, Services, Cost Out, etc.), ensuring On-time Delivery, with high quality and on-budget.
Strong team player with the ability to effectively work under pressure.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience in Heavy Duty Gas Turbine accessories engineering design and/or accessories product or process experience
Basic understanding of solid modeling software and model-based definition packages
Ability to assertively communicate with Senior Leadership.
Demonstrated ability to delegate and follow-up.
Experience driving Drawing to Model Based Product Definition initiatives
CAD expertise with NX(Unigraphics)
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience.

Effective written and oral communication skills.
2 years of CAD modeling experience.
Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives.
PLM expertise with ENOVIA or Team Center
