Regulatory Lawyer – Hybrid (London or Birmingham, 3 days a week in-office)
✅ Experienced in regulatory casework and keen to use your expertise to protect the public interest?
If so, read on. We’re looking for a Regulatory Lawyer to join our highly collaborative Legal team at RICS. This is a unique opportunity to combine legal expertise, case management, and advocacy in a role that supports effective regulation of one of the world’s most respected professions.
- Advocacy experience before tribunals, courts, or adjudicatory bodies.
- Knowledge of civil and/or criminal procedure relevant to regulatory work.
- Experience in disciplinary or regulatory casework, ideally within a professional regulator or public body.
- Excellent drafting and case management skills, with the ability to handle complex matters.
- Ability to deliver against KPIs and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills — both in writing and in person.
- Qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales).
