Rotating 7.6 hr roster between 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday to Sunday with potential overtime.
Attend Range Services Daily Briefing
Be a member of the Fire Response Team
Facilitate movement onto and off the Range area
Use Defence Computer or Paper Bases System to read and advise on customer booking enquiries
Conduct Range maintenance as allocated

Able to communicate effectively, work autonomously and willing to offer support and assistance to other trades and apprentices
Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable.
Must be an Australian Citizen, Australian Baseline Clearance – Desirable
Defence background in Training Area and Range operations desirable but not essential
Must hold a current MR (or higher) on commencement
Must have or be capable of attaining Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and Suppression
Experience with operating radios is highly regarded
Must have or be capable of attaining a workplace First Aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standard
Must have or be capable of attaining current operator licences for all Range vehicles and equipment
