  • Trains new and existing employees on workflows/procedures related to property management software systems via in person, telephone, and webinar sessions
  • Plan, establish and conduct training webinars on a broad set of software applications
  • Escalate critical issues to Vendor level technical support, open and monitor support cases, act as the technical point of contact, monitor progress and follow up regularly to drive timely resolution
  • Provide the first level of support for on-site and corporate staff, primarily assisting in “day to day” functions in several business verticals including, but not limited to: Affordable, Student Housing, Commercial, Multi-family, and Active Adult as well as complimentary functions such as Leasing Center, Amazon Lockers, and Pay/DocScan modules
  • Implementation of new modules and/or system enhancements and upgrades
  • Provides support to include initial access for new users, menu set-up, and security
  • Bridging the gaps between and among the various business user groups and ensuring that the needs of each group are met
  • Assisting property managers and site staff with day-to-day tasks such as: resolving resident ledger issues, password resets, and aligning roles/permissions with business requirements
  • Leads and directs training and employee development on accounting and property management software and integrated property management software
  • Help resolve daily issues that occur with performance, report questions, and day-to-day operational issues
  • Creates and maintains operations and training materials associated with United’s integrated systems
  • Test and lead testing efforts related to new functionality, new modules, and upgrades to existing modules including creating test plans, test cases and working to ensure a rigorous UAT process is followed by users
  • Maintain all aspects of the system including creating, modifying, and maintaining user settings, profiles, custom menu sets, account trees, lists, and modules
  • Continuous quality improvement: Project the mindset to proactively implement and improve workflows and efficiencies of existing operating procedures
  • Work collaboratively with Management Team to develop Standard Operating Procedures for Operations to positively impact business operations
  • Working within and managing a ‘help desk’ ticket system that will track calls, classify issues by problem type and track resolutions thus enhancing user experience and improving quality across all applications
  • Communicate resolution of issues to users in professional and timely manner
  • Responsible for system maintenance and support including analyzing current systems to build capability and meet ongoing business needs
  • Primary point of contact for United’s Managed Services Provider, ensuring security and IT infrastructure services are performed for all employees at a high level and meet business requirements
  • Configuration of business rules within each functional module
  • Creates and designs training materials, handouts, and related materials necessary to train new and existing staff
  • Become knowledgeable with company-specific property management and accounting business processes and needs; continually look for ways to leverage system capabilities to improve efficiency through workflow, automation, and process improvement

  • Required Education: BS in Business, Computer Science or equivalent practical knowledge/experience. Direct knowledge of Accounting Principles is a plus but not required.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years’ experience in IT/Accounting field to include working with operations/accounting software, preferable software as a service model. 3 – 5 years of customer service/technical support service in a fast – paced business environment. Proficiency with Microsoft products.
  • Qualities: Professional image compatible with United Group – positive attitude, energetic, assertive. Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level. Strong work ethic with exceptional verbal and written communication. Meticulous attention to detail and high ownership.
  • Willing to take ownership of the issue analysis and resolution efforts and commit to "doing what it takes" to resolve technical issues, triaging as necessary
  • Required to periodically travel to markets throughout the State of New York, Florida, Georgia, and other states as needed
  • Demonstrates ability to manage difficult situations and resolving issues in a harmonious manner
