Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards.
Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, GPS equipment, grading and PCCP machine control.
This position could be working on your own or overseeing a survey crew - the responsibilities could change depending on the assignment. **
Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadways, bridges, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control.

A minimum of 3 years of survey experience with a heavy Civil / Highway construction is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Trimble and Leica equipment is preferred but not mandatory.

Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
