In this role you will deliver air‑quality impact assessments, monitoring and management programs while maintaining high technical standards and timely delivery. You will manage air‑quality projects from initiation to completion, handling client engagement, reporting and proposal development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM’s national and international Air Quality practice. The position also involves contributing to greenhouse‑gas and carbon‑accounting projects and supporting business‑development activities for the Air Quality practice.
- Deliver air quality impact assessments, monitoring and management programs with high technical standards.
- Manage air quality projects from initiation to completion, including client engagement, reporting, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM’s national and international Air Quality practice.
- Contribute to greenhouse gas and carbon accounting projects.
- Support business development activities and technical profile‑raising for the Air Quality practice.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, environmental management or a related discipline and has at least two years of experience in air‑quality or environmental consulting. Proficiency in dispersion modelling such as CALPUFF or AERMOD is required, with experience in GRAL or WRF considered a plus. Experience creating emission inventories, strong technical writing and client‑facing communication, familiarity with greenhouse‑gas accounting and air‑quality monitoring, and skills in GIS and programming (R, Python) are also valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Management or related field with at least 2 years of air quality or environmental consulting experience.
- Proficiency in air quality dispersion modelling (e.g., CALPUFF, AERMOD); experience with GRAL or WRF preferred.
- Experience developing emission inventories and using Excel for emissions calculations.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills; experience preparing impact assessments, management plans, proposals, and client interactions.
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas or carbon accounting and air quality monitoring.
- Ability to use GIS (ArcGIS Pro, Q‑GIS) and programming languages such as R or Python (preferred).
