Description

• Work side by side in a team environment with Design Leaders, Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, Urban Planners and Emerging Professionals on active production projects
• Contribute to other design and marketing efforts undertaken by the firm
• Create visual presentations and communications for client interactions
• Develop design assignments throughout all project phases
• Coordinate architectural drawings across disciplines
• Support communication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants
• Play an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of projects aligned with strategic priorities
• Ongoing engagement with design team members to develop new skills and contribute to world‑class projects
• Participate in meaningful collaboration and research efforts

Requirements

We are seeking an Architect to join our Healthcare team in Asheville. The role requires passion for design, strong organizational skills, knowledge of codes and industry trends, ability to mentor teams, and foster client relationships, while driving visionary architectural concepts from concept to completion.

• Technical production skills and ability to produce design and construction documents
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience with 3D communication using hand rendering or software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape
• Understanding of relevant codes including state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMA
• LEED accreditation or interest in achieving accreditation
• Understanding of design and procurement processes
• Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle project challenges
• Capability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight
• Experience incorporating research in the design process
• Registered Architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB‑accredited university
• 6+ years of design experience post licensure (preferred)
• Cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities
