The Associate Demand Planner supports the availability and data accuracy of finished goods and service parts across the NGDV aftermarket network. The role assists with foundational planning activities that keep parts flowing to customers and technicians, driving on‑time delivery and product readiness. Key responsibilities include maintaining product data, processing MRP messages, and supporting inventory analysis for aftermarket item branch plants.
Daily tasks involve running Product Data Management forms, clearing MRP messages, conducting economic order quantity analysis, and reviewing buy messages to prevent excess inventory. The planner also participates in process‑improvement initiatives, assists with item setup and maintenance, and prepares standard reports and inventory snapshots for monthly planning meetings. Managing lower‑risk aftermarket service parts and finished goods ensures timely availability.
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, together with at least one year of relevant demand‑planning or data‑analysis experience. Standout qualifications include strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with JDE E1 or other MRP/ERP systems, and familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python, or Smartsheets. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and exposure to aftermarket or service‑parts environments are also valued.
The role is office‑based, primarily sedentary, and requires extended periods of computer use and participation in virtual or in‑person meetings. The pay range is $57,600 – $90,400, with individual compensation determined by experience, education, and skill set. Oshkosh offers a competitive total‑rewards package, reasonable accommodations for disabilities, and a people‑first culture that supports growth.
