Develop and establish the financial, administrative, commercial and organizational framework for the execution of the project, including control and management of change.
Collaborate with other groups within Egis to produce commercially sound bid submissions.
Support project managers and execution teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Drive improvements in commercial systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Lead or support the commercial aspects of bids, ensuring accurate costing, pricing strategies, and contractual risk reviews.
Oversee commercial performance during execution, including cost management, revenue recognition, and margin protection.
Develop and implement a consistent commercial management framework for both bidding and execution phases.
Support the Risk Manager by identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, throughout the project life cycle.
Lead the development of a comprehensive Commercial Management Plan that defines the commercial strategy and key processes for the execution of commercial activities.
Draft, review, and negotiate key contract documents, ensuring that terms protect the company’s interest.
Lead management of change, including change events, variations, and claims to ensure timely and fair commercial outcomes.
Lead or support the preparation of cash flow forecasts, profit margin analysis, and commercial bid approval documentation.
Support governance and approval processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Define commercial policies, procedures, and templates to standardize bid submissions, contract negotiations, and project delivery.
Review monthly billings to the client for accuracy and appropriateness and approve prior to submission; track receipt of payments and distribution to sub-consultants; report status internally as needed; support and cooperate with audit efforts.
Support the Project Director in overseeing the management of the design team (both internal and external design disciplines) with regard to commercial terms of the contract, including scheduled deliverables, quality and fee budgets.
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, partners, and subcontractors prior to contract award.
Together with the Project Controls team, develop, implement and report on key performance indicators related to the performance of services under the contract
Evaluate tender documents, identify risks, and propose appropriate commercial and contractual qualifications that mitigate the identified risks.

Previous leadership training and experience is an asset
Previous experience in an EPCM environment in the infrastructure industry is an asset.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
Chartered status or membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, APM, or CIMA) is highly desirable.
